4.) Keep Yourself Busy Keeping your body busy is a great way of keeping your mind busy and if your mind is busy than you won't think about smoking as much. Be creative and remember old activities or hobbies that you haven't done in awhile or just do more of the ones that you already do.
5.) Keep your Mouth and Hands Busy Smoking is a habit, a bad one at that. You get in the habit of putting something in your month, over and over again. So learn a hobby that keeps your hands busy. Have suckers, gum and some healthy snacks around.
6.) Be Healthy Drinking lot of water and eating healthy food can make the body feel better and can make the mind feel better. This can help you resist going back to smoking. Exercise is also a great way to make you feel better and a great way to take your mind off smoking.
7.) Remember all the People you are Helping When you decide to quit smoking you are not only helping yourself, but also the people around you. Let's face it, if you don't quit smoking, it will kill you one day. Imagine the people who are close to you. They no longer have to deal with secondhand smoke from you.
